Once again, I have gotten distracted. No, not more strawberry blocks, or yet another QAL. This one I blame on the guild member who showed a simple heart quilt at the meeting on Monday. And that started me on the road to wanting something with hearts or maybe red and white. As soon as I got home, all of the heart fabric came out of the drawer, and the ideas started to flow.
After spending a couple of days designing in EQ7, I've worked up another table runner, all red and white!
The 4-patch is a little sneak peek of what's in store. Meanwhile, I'm taking lots of notes while constructing, as there will be a pattern for this one.
And really, by now, I should be showing the Sitka Rose quilt. It's quilted, and the binding is on, at least on one side. Though it's a nice pattern, I've lost interest in it, and so it will become a baby quilt.
But it does have friends in that unfinished pile. There's a quilt needing a label for a gift, and two quilts needing sleeves. And let's not forget the bin of purple scraps for the RSC17 QAL, let alone a setting idea for the strawberries. There is just not enough time in the day!
This post is perfect for a new linky party called DrEAMi! hosted by Sandra at mmmquilts.
The party is all about those crazy inspirational quilting moments that take over our lives. Definitely a terrific idea for a linky party - be sure to check it out for inspiration!
So I'll bid you a great weekend quilting as I work away at my own to-do list.
