from Black & White, Bright & Bold, but in teal,
though a combo with orange as some of you suggested would have been fun! But alas, my orange stash (and coral) are quite limited.
I've only gotten through some of the cutting, as I've been working on other fun, upcoming projects. One of those is the Midweek Makers Feature this week, the Shadow Block Mini Quilt quilt-along,
organized by Janice at Color, Creating, and Quilting, and her fellow blogger, Jen at A Dream and a Stitch. I've always been fascinated by the shadow concept, and when presented with this pattern and a mini blog hop, it was an immediate YES! I'm in!
And there's still time to get in on the fun! Just contact Janice or Jen by August 31, with plenty of time for sewing when the big Shadow Block Mini Quilt blog hop reveals happen September 5. Can't wait! Thanks, ladies, for putting this together - be sure to grab a 'Featured' button.
Now let's see what everyone is working on!
- Please link directly to your specific post, not your main blog page.
- Link any recent post that has to do with sewing and fabric.
- Visit the other party guests and leave a comment. It's a great way to make new friends!
- Grab the Midweek Makers button code to put on your post or sidebar to let everyone know about the party!
Have a wonderful time at the party!
