Midweek Makers #32

Welcome to this week's party, Midweek Makers!

I hope everyone visited all the party-goer's pages, as all of the projects were awesome! This week's featured artist is Kathi from Run 'n Stitch, who shared a fun tutorial on making pillow cases with an accent strip.

These are adorable and so easy to construct - thanks Kathi, and be sure to grab a 'Featured' button!

The only bit I have to share is totally unrelated to quilting or sewing, which is progress on the opening of the wall in my house.

Just need to add the baseboard, though I wish we could have done the spiffy columns I wrote about earlier. Now we've moved on to repairing termite damage in our gazebo - home repairs just don't stop!

Since I'm so quilt deprived at the moment, I can't wait to see what everyone else is working on! So show your stuff by using the following guidelines:
  • Please link directly to your specific post, not your main blog page.
  • Link any recent post that has to do with sewing and fabric.
  • Visit the other party guests and leave a comment. It's a great way to make new friends!
  • Grab the Midweek Makers button code to put on your post or sidebar to let everyone know about the party!

Happy Quilting!

  1. Susan, look at all that open space! It looks great. I'm not sure I would get anything done because I would be walking around admiring all the new views.

  2. home repairs and do overs never end. We seem to have been working on our house since we moved in 36 years ago and still are doing do overs.
    lovely work you have done.

  3. Taking out a wall is a big project, it changes your home so much you feel like you are in a new home. Fun!
