What have I been up to this week? Well, some quilting and lots of staring a computer screen. We've got a vacation scheduled for later this year, and the time has come to make plans and hotel reservations. And that job has fallen to me. Three solid days spent researching and contacting hotels, etc. At least I'm almost done.
As for the quilting, I'm back to finishing up the t-shirt quilts.
Borders are on 4,
with one to go, and just enough fabric. Then on to piecing the backs, and getting the quilting done.
And I'm just about done with a project for my partner in an Instagram Halloween Mini Swap. If you follow me on Instagram, I've posted just these few, rather random progress pictures, as I want this to be a surprise.
The fabrics I'm working with,
and an almost finished picture. Just going to add some trim, and call it done. I'll show completed pictures at a later date.
Have I gotten around to making the blocks for the Twisted Blossom QAL by Sew Kind of Wonderful? No, but still hoping to join in.
Though it's been tough taking a break from new projects, hopefully it will give me a chance to refresh and recharge. Now to go finish up all of those in progress!
Have a great weekend quilting.
Sometime back in April or May, I signed up to participate in a Halloween Mini Swap, coordinated by one of my guild members. Having never done this before, I thought I'd give it a try.
